Rc plane help

by Jim
(Florida)

Couple of questions, I bought the nitroplanes fiberglass f4 phantom and have been working on it for a while and cannot seem to get it to fly. Is it a weight problem?

The jets I am using are 3000kv, 70mm which is recommended for it and seem powerful, but it won't move. I sealed every place air can get into.

The next question is how mush can 3000kv push/move/fly? The planes weight is probably around 7 to 10lbs. HELP!

What type of field are you flying off of? EDF planes typically don't ROG well or at all off grass. Personally NitroPlanes has not had a good track record of quality electronics and reliability of stock config.

Some r/c models have cheater holes to help ingest air. This may be part of your issue.

Is this your first r/c plane? If so I highly suggest you put this down and wait to progress your skills.
