Can I connect my battery to the bind/dat pin on my AR 400 rx

I have a nitro trainer 4 channel plane, where do I connect the battery on a 4 Channel RX ? I have an AR400 Spectrum, do I need a 5 channel RX?

My transmitter is a DX6i, I appreciate any help, this is my first nitro plane I have 4 brushless planes and 5 nitro RC trucks.

Personally I would use a larger full range RX, typically in the 6+ channel range on any nitro plane, no matter the size. Nitro planes move faster and get farther away than smaller electrics.

All Spektrum RXes are designed with the bind port also being the battery port. To bind, plug the bind cable in, then a battery to any other port, and follow binding instructions per your Spektrum radio.

I HAVE A EXCEED-RC 6 CHANNEL MODEL NO FS-GT6B RADIO. HOW DO I BIND IT. ALSO I HAVE 2 RECERVERS AND I POWER THEM THE RED LIGHT WILL FLASH 1 TIME AND I CANT GET THEM TO WORK AM I DOING IT WRONG OR WHAT THANKS.I AM NEW AT THIS RC STUFF I WANT TO LEARN BEFORE I GET TOO OLD . I WILL BE 80 ON DEC. 20TH THANKS
